Man off the grid

Like a modern day Thoreau, John Wells went off the grid, built a $1600 house with solar power, composting, rainwater collection, and a blog.

He calls it: The Field Lab.

I am the kind of guy who enjoys to seek brand-new things. Right now I am fabricating my hold photovoltaic panels. I am doing it all alone without the assistance of my men.
