Objectified is a new film on industrial design and our relationship to mass-produced objects. It's directed by Gary Hustwit, who brought us the great documentary on a typeface, Helvetica. Looks like another winner.

I don't think people could survive without materialistic things. We take for granted so much of what we already have.
