Beck's 2007 single "Timebomb" gets the video treatment featuring photographic art by Chris Jordan, whose recent work focuses on mass consumption in America.
"60,000 plastic bags, the number used in the US every five seconds."
Damn. Many countries are ditching plastic bags altogether to keep the unnecessary waste out of landfills. Since a nationwide ban in the U.S. isn't likely in the near future, it's in our own hands. The good news is that not all reusable shopping bags are girly fashion statements or some obnoxious tote sporting the logo of your local supermarket. Check ReusableBags.com for some sweet deals on a nice variety of bags.
