Apple just unveiled the world's thinnest notebook computer, the MacBook Air. Designed for today's wireless world, it's only 3 lbs and fits in a standard inter-office envelope. Watch the new ad and see why the Air doesn't even have a need for an internal optical drive at apple.com/macbookair.
Besides being ultra portable, the MacBook Air has a number of new features including a multi-touch trackpad and a backlit keyboard. It's also a very green machine using a recyclable aluminum frame, PVC-free circuitry, a mercury-free LCD display, minimal packaging, and consuming the least amount of power of any Mac.
