Green Shoes

New eco-friendly products are popping up quite a bit these days. Here are some examples from the footwear department:

Teva Curbside
Teva's new Curbside collection of shoes are made with canvas that uses recycled plastic bottles and an outsole that uses recycled rubber such as car tires and factory scrap.

Simple
Simple has been using sustainable materials like organic cotton and recycled rubber in all of their shoes.

Nike
Not to be outdone, Nike made the Long Ball Lace to be %100 sustainable. It's made without any glues or chemicals and replaces the rubber footbed with cork. When you're through with them, they can be taken apart for full recycling.
